Manufacturing

Our manufacturing facility, located in Cape Town, was established in 1954 and has been developed and expanded over the years to become one of the top facilities of its kind in the Republic of South Africa.

We have been serving the industry for more than 50 years, staying abreast of technological development and playing an innovative role in the engineering field. This dedication won the company the South African Institute of Welding’s Gold Medal Award in 1993 for 40 Years’ Service to industry. We has established an international reputation with exports to sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East and Asia.

Quality System

The company is listed by Lloyds Register of Industrial Services as an approved manufacturer for Class I fusion welded pressure vessels. The company was also the first in Africa to be certified by the ASME.

Our Quality System has been assessed to the ISO 9001 system by the SABS and listed accordingly. We have designed and built equipment in accordance with a number of international codes and specifications. These include AD Merkblatter, ASME, British Standard Specification, ANCC (Italian), TRD and EN.

In 2001 we were awarded a Safety Quality License for boilers by the Chinese government.

Our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Services Dept and Laboratory headed by our resident metallurgist provides comprehensive destructive and non-destructive services in all disciplines.
